Margaret Prusan created source37 in response to her client's requests for referrals for exceptional service providers to help them with specific areas of their business. This led to the creation of source37, a member-based, invitation-only collective of women-run businesses that provide top-quality services to corporations, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. 

Our unique, holistic approach to business offers flexible, synergistic resources to clients and serves as a braintrust, referral and support network to members.

The name source37 reflects the founder's philosophy of providing energy and ease in helping clients and members acheive their goals.

The name has its root in the ancient Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui. In Feng Shui the numbers 3 and 7 add up to 10, reducing to 1: source37 is the one source for all your business needs.

The primary number one is connected with the element of Water, whose colors are reflected in our logo. Water is the source of life; for a business, it represents cash flow. Water is also thought to symbolize the path of our careers, fitting for both clients and members.

source37’s numbers 3 and 7 represent Yang energy—lively, active, full of light & energy—a perfect foundation for dynamic business opportunities.

The number 3 represents the element of Wood, whose archetype is "The Pioneer." Wood energy symbolizes growth and flexibility, which many of our clients in this economy are seeking. Finally, the number 7 represents the element of Metal, whose archetype is "The Alchemist".
